My left eyelid has started twitching for some reason, and it's really bugging me. It started yesterday and it randomly spasms throughout the day. Possibly related to me going to the opticians on Saturday. I figured I should sort out getting some contact lens, so went into town to be faced by the bossiest optician in the world.
Young, mid-twenties asian bloke, who was nice enough, but insisted on commanding me to do things as if I had no brain of my own.
"Go into the room, leave your shopping on the chair by the door and then sit down on the big chair at the end of the room."
Right, all well so far. It was amusing at first but then became annoying as he continued doing that as I followed him out of the room, remembering to take my shopping bags before he commanded me to.
"Oh yes, pick up your shopping bags first." He says, after I'd already done so. Argh.
Maybe he was a robot, or used to dealing with old people or foreigners.
I've got to see him next week to try out the lens he ordered. And I mean ordered. I bet he was on the phone, listing step by step instructions on how they should label up the lens and close the envelope, add a stamp and then post the damn lenses out.
Nothing infuriates me more than people telling me to do stuff was already going to do. Do not assume I don't have a brain. Even if at times I don't use it.

I don't assume you don't have a brain, I know you don't...
