God knows on whether I'm making a mistake, but my holiday to New York with my parents is fast approaching. I'll be spending the first two weeks of August on the east coast, flying into Newark, checking in with some rellies before the real tourist stuff kicks in. I had 2 weeks holiday to use up at work, so suggested to my folks that we went away for a week somewhere. They were thinking a cheapy trip to Greece or Turkey, but I suggested New York and they were up for it as long as we made it a fortnight. Now it's dawning on me how much my parents drive me up the wall after a weekend with them. A road trip around America maybe wasn't the best idea...
Anyway, rough plans are spending a week around NY state, and then driving over to the NY side of Niagara and spending a few days in Toronto before heading back. This is of course assuming they'll let us brownies into yank-land. I'm just hoping no latex gloves will be involved in the search procedures. Eep...
