Good fortune

I'm back and in one piece (more or less) from my trip over the pond. Things I have learned from my recent misadventures:

- My dad likes Fleetwood Mac
- I'm never going on holiday with my parents again
- 360 degree rainbows do exist and are the best rainbows ever
- I can drive a left hand drive car and on the wrong side of the road too
- I can drive a automatic car, but it's not as fun as a manual
- I'm never going on holiday with my parents again
- New Jersey is called the Garden State because they have a lot of green trees and stuff
- American rental car GPS doesn't work in Canada
- I'm never going on holiday with my parents again
- I now need a proper holiday to recover
- The US don't care about people leaving the country (so not many restrictions on hand luggage) just the people coming in
- The US Government now have my photo and fingerprints on their intelligence files forever
- I'm never going on holiday with my parents again

Oh yeah, if I ever mention going on holiday with my parents again (even if it is free), shoot me.

I'll be posting pics on Flickr once I get them off my dad's camera.

Other news: I've succumbed to my yearly tradition of swapping jobs by getting a new job. I may be growing as a person (but not in height), as this is an internal post, but in a different department. Lots of busy-ness for the next few weeks though.

Plans are also kicking off for my big Three-Oh, or as I like to call it, my twenty-tenth birthday. Booked a table at Aziz Pandesia for 7.30pm, but I'll be ciculating an email nearer the time with more details. :)
